Two performances by actresses not linked to nominated films took center stage Sunday night at the Oscars.
It was Kristen Stewart and Renee Zellweger's behavior as presenters that had viewers tweeting up a storm.
Zellweger, on stage with the reunited cast of "Chicago," bobbed and weaved as the other cast members stood calmly.
"Renee Zellweger is seriously FREAKING ME OUT. omg someone help her please," one fan posted on her Facebook page.
"Renee Zellweger is acting like I do when I drink a lil' too much in front of my mum, but I try to hold it together," tweeted another.
Zellweger also had trouble reading off winners as the envelopes were opened, offering the opportunity to those arrayed around her.
Kristen Stewart's troubles had more to do with walking as the "Twilight" actress hobbled out on stage to present an award.
"Kristen Stewart are you ok? And by that I mean where were the hash brownies before u got hit" actor David Spade tweeted.
Earlier, backstage, Anne Hathaway ran into Kristen Stewart, who was on crutches.
"Oh no!" Hathaway said.
"I know, I'm an idiot," Stewart replied.
"Please tell me you're going on stage with those," Hathaway said, pointing to the crutches.
"Nope. I'm gonna hobble," Stewart said.
"Well, break a leg," Hathaway said. "Oops."
Stewart said she stepped on glass.
"I just hope it doesn't open up right now," she said backstage.
Yikes.
