The West Coast remains active with rain and several feet of snow for parts of California this week.  Flash flooding is a concern over parts of Northern and Central California mid week.

Meanwhile cold air pushing south will bring heavy snow for the Rockies and eventually the Plains later this week. Strong to severe storms will also be possible with this system.

Moderate to major flooding will be ongoing across the Central U.S with melting snow and ice jams adding more issues to an already dire situation.
