A Georgia elementary school teacher is facing multiple counts of child pornography charges following a tip from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children.

James Andrew "Drew" Cecil, 38, a fourth-grade teacher at Poole's Mill Elementary in Cumming, was arrested after deputies investigated the tip reporting the online sexual exploitation of a child, according to Fox 5 Atlanta.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office's Internet Crimes Against Children Unit began probing the allegations from the tip, which initially identified the individual involved as a teacher.

During the investigation, Cecil was identified as the suspected teacher. He was eventually arrested and charged with nine counts of possession of child pornography and one count of sexual exploitation of children.
