RIMROCK, Ariz – An intense search is under way at a northern Arizona campground for a toddler wearing only a diaper.
The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office says detectives spent the night combing a campsite at the Beaver Creek Campground off Interstate 17 about 50 miles south of Flagstaff.
Authorities had two vehicles towed from the campsite for a further inspection.
Meanwhile, specially trained bloodhounds continue a grid search of the area hoping to pick of any scent of 2-year-old Syler Newton.
Authorities say Syler's family discovered him missing from his sleeping bag at about 1:45 a.m. Sunday.
Syler is described as about 3 feet tall and weighs about 20 pounds.
Anyone with information regarding Syler or his whereabouts is asked to call YCSO via 911 or 928-771-3260.
