On the streets of Manhattan, it seems like everyone has a different opinion about Britney Spears' pantyless antics. Here's what some people had to say:
Marie Braun, 24 (Frankfurt, Germany):
“Poor thing. Britney is just so deluded. She never had a normal childhood herself, and just doesn’t know how to control herself. The girl needs serious help, she shouldn’t be allowed to keep her kids until she gets her own head together.”
Mara Yanoshik, 20 (New York City):
“She shouldn’t have had kids, she’s not responsible enough. Of course she’s young and wants to go out and have fun, but it seems as though she’s forgetting her parental duties. I don’t think the panty scandal will do her any harm; she’s getting a lot of press. I don’t think Britney did it on purpose though, I’m pretty sure she is just plain stupid.”

Will Britney Spears' Pantyless Antics Hurt Her Custody Case?
Corey Sandusky, 23 (New York City):
“This partying thing won’t hurt her career. Look at Kate Moss, she’s worth more now since the drug revelations. She obviously needs to let her hair down, and as long as it doesn’t go on too long it won’t do any damage.”

Adam Turner, 32 (San Diego, Calif.):
“Britney Spears is dirty and foul. Anyone who hangs around with bimbos like Paris Hilton is just asking for trouble. Britney probably thought she was funny flashing the press her crotch, she’s that dumb. What kind of respectable mother does that? She has no idea. She shouldn’t be a mother and she shouldn’t be a celebrity.”
Cecilia Nash, 41 (Brooklyn, N.Y.):
“I’m not a fan. When the highest paid woman in the world starts acting like white trash, you have to wonder about the damage of fame and money. As for motherhood, she’s a disgrace. I used to feel sorry for her, but not anymore."
Monique Halloran, 28 (New Jersey):
“I think Britney’s latest pictures are funny. We all need to give the girl a break; divorce does weird things to people. Maybe she should have thought twice before having kids…”
GRRR! Mommy, Where Is Your Underwear?
Jeffrey LeSrancois, 21 (Connecticut):
“This whole thing is repulsive and disgusting. But at the same time, it’s kind of interesting. She’s certainly not fit for motherhood. She’s still a child herself.”
Keith Williams, 56 (Long Island, N.Y.):
“Let it go. It’s just a bit of publicity for her. Nobody is perfect. I’m sure she loves her kids.”
Andrew Riskalla, 22 (New Jersey):
“They say all publicity is good publicity, right? She’s young and naïve. The girl has no idea what she’s doing. Britney isn’t a good example of motherhood; I feel sorry for her kids. Both their parents are losers.”
Stephanie Scalvo, 20 (New Jersey):
“It’s about time Britney let herself go, after all, she’s hung around that idiot K-Fed for so long. But she needs to be more careful, or employ a stylist who advises her to wear undies. I feel so sorry for her kids, they are going to grow up embarrassed if she keeps up this wild phase.”
Jay Vern, 28 (Brooklyn, N.Y.):
“Good for her. Partying hard will give her publicity and money. She’s young, she’ll get over it. You can’t keep a pace like that forever.”
Miranda Keller, 15 (London):
“Heaps of my girlfriends don’t wear undies either 'cause of the panty-line thing. But Britney should have known better. She’s plain stupid, she shouldn’t be a mom.”
Tony Lynch, 37 (New York City):
“I’m sick of hearing about her. Why is the media giving her so much attention? There are more important things in life to worry about than some trash bag hanging out with other trash bags.”
Justin Boyd, 29 (Boston):
“She’s either really dumb or really smart. Dumb if she thought she wouldn’t get snapped, or smart 'cause she knew she would make headlines. I do like Britney though, I hope she gets it together.”
Daniela Rizzeri, 18 (Queens, N.Y.):
“I think everybody needs to back off. Britney has been through a lot, she should be allowed to go out and have fun. Just because she’s a mom, why does she have to be good all the time?”
Rosa Rizzeri, 47 (Queens, N.Y.):
“I used to like Britney back in her heyday. But her latest press disgusts me. She needs professional help; she’s not fit for motherhood. I don’t think the panty thing was done on purpose, I think she’s just an idiot.”
