As we count down to Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, Calif., it's time to look back on the magical and memorable moments in the 49 previous Super Bowls. Today, we look back at moment No. 3, when James Harrison almost ran out of gas at the goal line.
The Steelers have five defenders in the Pro Football Hall of Fame who played in a Super Bowl but none of them had a more impactful moment in a championship game than James Harrison.
Freelancing on a goal-line play, the linebacker read where Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner would be throwing the football.
Harrison intercepted the pass and chugged 100 yards down the sideline for a touchdown that killed Arizona's momentum and gave Pittsburgh a 17-7 lead heading into halftime.
