Saint Etienne, France – St. Etienne signed midfielder Renaud Cohade from French rival Valenciennes on a free transfer Tuesday.
The 27-year-old Cohade has signed a three-year contract with St. Etienne.
"St Etienne are a great club with many ambitions," Cohade said on the club's website. "I had great desire to come here and to work with the leaders here, particularly the coach Christophe Galtier.
"Joining St Etienne is a nice progression in my career."
