The Caitlin Clark-Angel Reese rivalry has now shifted to the WNBA Rookie of the Year race.

Their teams — the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky — have faced off three times this season, with Indy holding a 2-1 advantage.

They will match up once more on Aug. 30.

In the meantime, however, the rookies are continuing their ascent into superstardom as they both were named All-Stars.

On July 6th, Clark and the Fever knocked off the New York Liberty, the team with the league's best record, 83-78. In addition, Clark notched her first-ever triple-double, making WNBA history in the process.

Clark followed up her historic triple-double performance with another unbelievable stat line.

In Wednesday's loss against the Washington Mystics, she had 29 points, 13 assists, 5 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 blocks. No player in WNBA or NBA history has ever recorded those numbers in a game.

As of Monday, Clark leads the WNBA in assists at 7.8 per game.

Let's take a look at the WNBA Rookie of the Year odds at FanDuel Sportsbook as of July 15.

WNBA Rookie of the Year 2024:

Caitlin Clark, Fever: -1050 (bet $10 to win $10.95 total)
Angel Reese, Sky: +600 (bet $10 to win $70 total)

On Monday's edition of "The Herd," host Colin Cowherd passionately pleaded for Caitlin Clark to make the Olympic team.

"Don't double down on dumb," Cowherd stated.

"Get her on the team. Give us a reason to watch the Olympic women's team."

Can Reese catch Clark on the ROY oddsboard? Although she sits a sizable distance behind Clark at the moment, Angel is also enjoying a historic season.

On Saturday night, Angel Reese's WNBA-record double-double streak came to an end at 15 as she finished with eight points.

As of Monday, Reese leads the league in rebounds per game with 12.

Just a week ago, Clark was -600 to win ROY, but after posting a triple-double and a 29 point performance, she is now -1050.

Another factor that could affect the race is playoff participation.

If the season were to end today, the Fever, at 11-14, would be the seventh team to qualify for the postseason, while the Sky, at 9-14, would be the eighth squad.

On last week's edition of "Undisputed," FOX Sports contributor Rachel Nichols said if she had to pick between the two for Rookie of the Year, she gives Clark the slight edge.

"To me, Caitlin Clark is the Rookie of the Year right now. She has impacted winning in a bigger way than anyone else in the rookie class. … And her team is on pace to finish a lot better this year than it did last year. … Whereas right now, Angel Reese's Sky are not on pace to improve."

The Fever finished the 2023 season at 13-27. The Sky finished at 18-22.
