Juventus signed coach Antonio Conte to a new three-year contract Thursday, just weeks after he guided the club to unbeaten season in Serie A.

The 42-year-old Conte took over Juventus prior to last season and led the club to a 23-0-15 record and its first league title since a match-fixing scandal rocked the storied club.

Juventus also reached the Coppa Italia final, a loss to Napoli, this season.

Conte, a former Juve captain who played for the club from 1991-2004, started his coaching career in 2006 with Arezzo, and later coach Bari, Atalanta and Siena before moving to Juventus.
