A program has not three-peated since John Wooden's UCLA Bruins won six in a row from 1967 to 1973.

Since then, programs that have won two titles in a row include Duke (91-92), Florida (06-07), and the aforementioned UConn (23-24).

UConn came into this season ranked No. 3 and now sits at No. 2 as of Nov. 25. Its first real test will come on Dec. 4 against No. 12 Baylor.

The No. 1 team in the country is the Kansas Jayhawks, who returned two-time second-team All-American Hunter Dickinson. Through five games, he is averaging 17.8 points and 10.4 rebounds.

Kansas will face current national title favorite Duke on Tuesday. The No. 12 Blue Devils are coming off a road win at then-No. 9 Arizona last week.
