Heavy-metal legend Terence Michael Joseph Butler, better known as Geezer Butler, original bassist and lyricist for Black Sabbath, is selling his Beverly Hills, CA, home -- and it isn't anything like you're expecting.

Butler, often considered the father of heavy metal, is known for his dark and resonating lyrics, but if you're expecting rocker touches like a guitar-shaped pool, on-site nightclub, or maybe a bat-filled dungeon, think again.

Listed for a recently reduced $2,995,000, the five-bedroom home is a bright and airy Mediterranean with a ton of modern touches.

The stylish space definitely has a villa vibe, with plenty of small details like wrought-iron railings and ornate french doors.

But there's plenty of modern charm, too. In the den, cubby-style built-ins surround an asymmetrical fireplace. The kitchen -- complete with stainless-steel appliances and sleek black countertops -- is divided by a separate eat-in bar.

Upstairs, the new buyers will be able to sleep like a rock star. There is a massive master suite with a sitting area, fireplace, and balcony overlooking the yard.

But outside might be the place to be. There's a covered space for relaxing, a saltwater pool, and plenty of green. Best of all: No neighbors.

"The best feature is probably the large lot. With no rear neighbor, there is a lot of privacy," says Violetta Hargitay, listing agent with Rodeo Realty.

As for the legend, he's been touring with Black Sabbath on a farewell tour, dubbed "The End."
