Three U.S. House races — two in California and one in Iowa — are still too close to call Wednesday, according to The Associated Press, as ballot-counting extends into a fourth week.

Republicans hold a slim majority in the House of Representatives, though the size of that narrow margin will not be known until the three races are called.

Last week, The Associated Press called Ohio's 9th Congressional District for Democratic incumbent Rep. Marcy Kaptur, and Alaska's at-large district for Republican entrepreneur Nick Begich, who flipped the seat red by ousting Democratic incumbent Rep. Mary Sattler Peltola.

The balance of power currently sits at 219 seats for Republicans, and 213 for the Democrats.

1. California's 13th Congressional District

Former Democratic state Assembly member Adam Gray pulled ahead of incumbent Republican Rep. John Duarte on Wednesday as votes in California’s 13th Congressional District continued to trickle in.

The highly contested race remains uncalled as of Wednesday morning.

98.99% of the vote has been counted, and Gray now holds a slim 50.04% to 49.96% lead. The two candidates are separated by just 182 votes at 104,503 to 104,321.

2. California's 45th Congressional District

Democratic challenger Derek Tran declared victory Monday as he maintains a tiny lead over Republican incumbent Rep. Michelle Steel in the 45th District. Tran is now ahead by 613 votes with a total of 157,960 to Steel's 157,347 votes as of Wednesday morning.

Steel has not conceded, and The Associated Press has yet to call the race.

"From the need for affordable healthcare and housing to the importance of an economy that includes everyone, people here are looking to the future with hope and determination," Tran said in a statement. "I look forward to representing that optimism and working tirelessly to ensure that our communities’ voices are heard in Washington."

99% of the votes have been counted for the district.

3. Iowa's 1st Congressional District

Republican incumbent Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks holds a .1% lead over challenger Christina Bohannan with 99% of the votes counted. Miller-Meeks' lead sits at 800 votes as of Wednesday, 206,956 to 206,156.

A recount, which Miller-Meeks has labeled a waste of taxpayer money, is underway, and House Administration Committee election observers have been deployed to the state to observe the process. Some of the 20 counties in the 1st District have completed the recount, while others have yet to finish, KCCI reports.

Miller-Meeks has declared victory and said she was confident in her lead.
