Most recently, Rafferty covered the 2013 deadly crash of Asiana Flight 214 at the San Francisco Airport (SFO), the aftermath of the 2013 deadly fertilizer plant explosion in West, Texas and the celebrations in lower Manhattan following the death of Osama bin Laden. Previously, she covered Hurricane Dean's path in Jamaica and also reported on the Duke University rape investigation from Durham, NC.
Before joining FNC, Rafferty served as a reporter for KOCO-TV (ABC 5) in Oklahoma City, OK, where she provided live coverage of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and the devastation of Oklahoma wildfires. She also covered Oklahoma's five major military installations during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Rafferty began her journalism career in 2001 as an anchor and reporter at KZTV-T (CBS 10) in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Rafferty attended Bellarmine University and is a native of Beeville, Texas.
