Oh, Alright: It's National Tequila Day

Every week here at FNL, we get a press release declaring it's National This Day or National Week of That. We try to ignore the most clearly PR-concocted, and so we've spent the last few weeks turning up our noses at National Tequila Day, this Sunday. Who inaugurated it, Abe Lincoln?

But fact is, tequila is now America's third most-popular liquor, according to the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (behind vodka and Canadian whiskey). And the margarita has been the most popular U.S. cocktail for, well, a while now.

And it's hot.

And it's Sunday.
