Meghan Markle was all smiles during her first official joint engagement of 2019 with husband Prince Harry, as the pregnant Duchess of Sussex wore roughly $4,400 of designer duds.
Markle and her prince stopped by the town of town of Birkenhead, Merseyside Monday to visit with local charitable groups, including Tomorrow's Women Wirral and Hive Wirral Youth Zone, HELLO! Magazine reports.
For the occasion, Duchess Meghan sported a scarlet Sentaler wrap coat ($1,400) and purple dress by Babaton for ARITZIA ($138), completing the look with red Stuart Weitzman pumps ($375) and a brown Gabriela Hearst bag ($2,516), The Sun reports.
As noted by HELLO!, the royal’s poppy tribute was likely a nod to Tomorrow's Women Wirral, whose official colors are fuchsia and purple.

During a walkabout ahead of visits with the two respective organizations, Markle spoke to fans and revealed that she is due in late April or early May, as per HELLO!. She also told another person she was currently six months pregnant.
Another onlooker, meanwhile, was evidently more intrigued by Duchess Meghan’s footwear.
“She said her pregnancy had gone so quickly,” one young mom reportedly told People. “I asked her how she was coping on those high heels. She said, ‘One day at a time!’”
