No pain, no Gaines.

“Fixer Upper” star Chip Gaines is training hard for the upcoming Silo District Marathon in Waco, Texas, and recently shared a shirtless selfie to Instagram in honor of a particularly tough workout.

“Ouch.. is it just me, or is training for the half even tougher than the 26.2??” the 44-year-old asked his Instagram following of 4.3 million. Gaines is all smiles in the picture, wearing headphones as he stands on a winding dirt road.

“Help @gigrunewald! I need your resolve,” he added, tagging his trainer, Gabriele Grunewald, evidently searching for some motivation.

Gaines’ fans, meanwhile, were quick to cheer on the former HGTV star.

“Woohoooo!! You rock!! You got this!!!” one Instagram commenter exclaimed.

“Go Chip!!! You are a he-man!!!” another agreed.

"You got this Chip! Demolition time!" one said.

Despite Gaines’ action-packed life managing the Magnolia omnibrand and doting on his five kids, the construction pro is apparently wasting no time preparing for the second annual charitable race and extravaganza.

Set to be held on April 28, Magnolia’s Silo District Marathon offers 5K, half-marathon, and marathon divisions, with race profits benefiting cancer research and treatment, as per the event’s official details.
