A see-through mesh dress from British online retailer ASOS has been ridiculed online over its nearly-naked look.

The Jaded London all over sequin mesh beach dress is described on ASOS as “sweet looks from the ground up” with a slim fitting sequin-embellished design.

The dress is also currently available at ASOS for 68 pounds (around $90) and selling for a similar price at Jaded London.

The brand behind the cowl neck dress claims its style was influenced by Beyoncé — who famously wore a revealing head-to-toe sequin and mesh Givenchy gown to the Met gala in 2015.

However, social media users aren’t buying the hype and instead have described the unique beach outfit as resembling “bubble wrap.”

ASOS is known for pushing fashion boundaries with its barely-there offerings.
