William Levy Talks Addictions, Abs And Brad Pitt

When Fox News Latino asked what his addiction was, he said

Cuban model and actor William Levy was a little coy when Fox News Latino asked him about his six pack abs featured in a new campaign for Pepsi NEXT, "Yeah, I got to go to the gym a little more," he jokingly said.

The print and video ads feature Levy in six different tongue-in-cheek characters including a doctor, a rock star, an action hero and a Casanova. "I  had a lot of fun. I mean, I have to tell you, I enjoyed the most doing the Casanova and the hero,"  the actor added.

The campaign that launched this week includes a game called WheelofLevy.com, where participants spin a virtual wheel, pick their favorite Levy character and enter to win a free 2-liter Pepsi NEXT.

Levy, who was already a familiar face in the Spanish world, jumped to superstardom for mainstream audiences in 2012, when he competed and won third-place on “Dancing with the Stars."

The actor revealed he hasn't had time to watch the show's new season because he's been in Mexico filming the telenovela "La tempestad," but he said he supports it from afar. "I had a lot of fun doing it, I wish them good luck,"  he added.

And although Levy is currently taping a Spanish soap opera, he has been able to successfully jump back and forth from Spanish to English projects.

Aside from multiple bilingual endorsements, he also recently completed two English language movies, including the erotic drama "Addicted," based on the novel of the same name by Zane, and Tyler Perry's "Single Mom's Club."

"Single Mom's Club" will be the Cuban actor's first role on the big screen. "I'm playing a guy that falls in love with a woman," he said, adding, "he's a man who takes responsibility for a single mom." The actor told us that Tyler Perry, who is known for giving opportunities to young actors, made him feel at ease during filming. "It was nice working with him (Perry), great guy, great production, great movie,"  Levy added.

Levy has an edgier role in "Addicted," a movie that tackles sex addiction. "It’s a character that I don't know if people are going to hate me for or not," Levy said. "However, the actor told us that the movie does have a message. "The woman is the one having this problem, she puts herself in danger and puts her family in danger," he said.

When Fox News Latino asked what his addiction was, he said " my babies!" Levy's two children with on-again off-again girlfriend Elizabeth Gutierrez, are now seven and four.

Although Levy has been dubbed the Latino Brad Pitt, he said he is his own man. "I appreciate it when people compare you to someone that has a big career the way he has," he said. "However," he added, "I am who I am, you don't like being compared to people that much."
