LOS ANGELES – Victoria Justice couldn't be more excited to star in Fox’s next big musical, a two-hour “Rocky Horror Picture Show” remake.
Justice will appear alongside Laverne Cox, Adam Lambert and Christina Milian.
“I’m excited about so many things,” she told FOX411. “I am excited about the soundtrack. We have been recording for the past week and a half now and that’s been a really amazing experience getting to work with Cisco Adler and kind of being able to bring my own interpretation to Janet. The music is so much fun!”
The 22-year-old actress shared that although she is excited for “Rocky Horror” she is also slightly nervous.
“It’s a little nerve wracking coming into something new, and obviously we have big shoes for us to fill,” she said. “We have several weeks of rehearsal and a bunch of choreography we have to learn before we start filming so that’s probably what I am a little nervous about some of the choreography. There is a lot of choreography!”
However, the former Nickelodeon “Victorious” star said she is a hard worker.
“I think I probably worked harder than a lot of people work during a 10-year span,” she said of her time on “Victorious.” “It was kind of a grueling schedule; I was in pretty much every scene and I had songs I was recording and choreography I had to learn, and I was flying all around doing press and promotional stuff and photo shoots.”
Justice is appreciative of the time she spent on the four-season-long show.
“It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without it. I know I work hard and I commit to everything I do 100 percent.”
“The Rocky Horror Picture Show” airs on Fox in 2016.
