"Sopranos" star Drea De Matteo is one of many New Yorkers who lost an apartment in an East Village explosion Thursday.
The 43-year-old actress posted pictures of the building up in flames from across the street.
"A hole where my NYC home of the last 22 years once stood..." she captioned a photo she took of the scene.
The powerful blast caused the collapse of three buildings and fire damage to a fourth, the NYC fire department said. Nineteen people were injured, four critically after the powerful blast and fire sent flames soaring and debris flying on Thursday.
Preliminary evidence suggested a gas explosion amid plumbing and gas work inside the building was to blame.
"Modern Family" star Sarah Hyland also tweeted about her connection to the buildings.
