As Americans head to the polls today to choose between Presidential candidates Mitt Romney and Barack Obama, Rosanne Barr wants them to know one thing: She is running too.

The comedian announced her plans to run for president in for the Peace and Freedom Party back in August, and though her candidacy has gained little attention since then, on election day the actress is making a final push via Twitter to get her name on as many ballots as possible.

“Good Morning East Coast! Vote for ME Roseanne Barr,” she tweeted, along with a link to a list of states where she is on the ballot or qualified as write-in candidate.

Barr touts herself as “the only serious comedian running for president,” on her official candidacy website, and she has been an avid supporter of the legalization of marijuana, writing online: “The legalization of marijuana is the way to end all Drug Wars and stop the monopoly of the subsidized prison systems.”

But even with her detailed policies, it seems Barr can’t even earn the vote of her ex-husband Tom Arnold.

"I'm voting for Obama, but for God's sake let Roseanne have her pot ... she's 60," Arnold told TMZ.

The site also reported that her former “Rosanne” co-star Michael Fishman, who played her son DJ, won’t be voting for the comedian either.

Still, Barr has maintained her sense of humor even with the lack of votes and media attention.

“Just heard from the DC press corp,” she tweeted. “They had no idea I was running! Lol.”
