Rachel Bilson puts aside her own feelings when co-parenting 3-year-old daughter Briar Rose with ex Hayden Christensen.
“We say Mommy has a house and Daddy has a house but she’s pretty young to have an in-depth conversation,” she told People. “Most important for me is that Briar is OK and secure and stable. No matter what I’m dealing with or how much it hurts or how much anger there is, it’s just about her.”
Bilson, 36, and Christensen, 37, called it quits in September after being in an on-again, off-again relationship for almost 10 years.
“We’re still kind of trying to figure it out,” she said of co-parenting. “It’s a tricky one. And I don’t know that there is any right way, necessarily.”
The “Take Two” star added, “Briar needs to feel loved from the people she loves the most. She has that love that is unconditional so I think we’re doing OK.”
The exes, who met on the set of “Jumper” in 2008, welcomed Briar in October 2014.
