Famed blogger Perez Hilton is just as well-known for covering celebrity news and gossip as he is for his high-profile feuds.

Throughout his career, the 41-year-old has made a few friends but even more enemies in Hollywood.

One who stands out is Oscar winner Lady Gaga. The two began as friends in the early 2000s and he championed her career, but their relationship later turned sour.

Hilton, whose real name is Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., opened up about Gaga and his troubles with other celebrities on the latest episode of the podcast "Daddy Issues" hosted by Dean McDermott, Adam Hunter and Nicky Paris.

In an exclusive sneak peek of the upcoming episode, the blogger accused the Grammy winner of changing because of fame.

"Fame can be a very toxic thing depending on what kind of a person you are," Hilton explained. "She's very famous now but back in 2010-2011, it was what Ariana Grande is going through now. Every song was a hit, she was everywhere, nonstop media attention."

"It's not easy for a lot of people to deal with that kind of fame and it can consume you," he added. "She fell out with not just me but everybody."

Their fallout began in 2011 after Gaga was allegedly drunk while they were filming a cooking segment in Australia and Hilton interviewed her.

She reportedly didn’t like the type of questions Hilton was asking and stormed off. The encounter made the blogger reevaluate their friendship, he said.

“He started asking me really terrible questions, and he was being very negative about 'Born This Way,' and we had had a lot to drink," Gaga told Howard Stern in an interview in 2013.

“He was supposed to be my friend and I felt betrayed, so I started crying. And then my [other] friend had to come in and pull the camera out, they wouldn't turn the cameras off.”

They would occasionally send each other insults on Twitter and in August 2013 the singer accused him of stalking her because he was looking to rent an apartment in the New York City building she lived in.

A war of words ensued on the social media platform, with Gaga fans (called Little Monsters) getting involved to the point they threatened Hilton and his young son.

Gaga then asked her fans not to send negativity to people who criticize her.

Aside from talking about Gaga, the podcast interview also covered Hilton's life raising his three children as a single parent, his dating life and other celebs he’s made peace with.

He recalled hanging out Amy Winehouse and said she was "normal" compared to how she was portrayed in the media. Hilton said she loved record shopping, eating junk food and talking about music. Hilton also said he remembers Britney Spears' breakdown in 2007-2008 as well.

"Back then it really was like watching this girl die. Before the infamous breakdown of her shaving her head, there were helicopters following her around every day," he revealed. "She would drive for hours in her car."

Hilton has since also ended his feud with Fergie and she even invited him to her son’s baby shower.

And he then there's his feud with Vanessa Hudgens after he leaked Hudgens' naked photos online. Hilton said a few years ago they were at an amusement park "hanging out together" at a Halloween event.

According to Hilton, what prompted change for him was an effort to lead a healthier lifestyle – mind, body, and soul – in 2008.
