Demi Lovato may be joined by another Latina songstress on the next season of “The X Factor.”
Sources have told E! News Mexican singer Paulina Rubio is in talks to join the show’s judges panel.
The report also says former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland will be joining the show as well.
While Fox has yet to comment on the situation, a final decision on all four judges must be made before the new season begins shooting on Tuesday, in Charleston, N.C.
If the deals are finalized, Rowland and Rubio would fill the seats left by Britney Spears and L.A. Reid, with Simon Cowell being the only male on the panel.
In lieu of mega stars, sources have said the show is going with the likes of Rowland and Rubio because they have had success on similar programs.
Rubio served as a judge on La Voz…Mexico and is also slated to be a coach on "La Voz Kids" (Kids Voice), which Telemundo will premiere next spring.
Simon Cowell tweeted he will make an announcement Monday. "This is going to be an interesting show!" he said.
The former “American Idol” judge is ecstatic to have Lovato back as a judge with him this season.
As the youngest judge on the show, Cowell said he loved how the “Heart Attack” singer related to the contestants and the viewers.
“I couldn’t be happier that Demi wants to come back this year,” Cowell said in a statement. “She’s a superstar in her own right and was a fantastic mentor last year.”
