Phoebe Cates didn't land any other roles as notable as the one that made her famous (and then that movie “Gremlins”)... she quit onscreen acting altogether after 2001. Outside of acting, she is a talented dancer. She has two children with Kevin Kline, who she married in 1989.

While Lloyd had only aspired to be a kickboxing champion, John Cusack has a real life black belt in Urquidez's Ukidokan Kickboxing.

In 2007, Slater made headlines when he said he was still in love with his “Heathers” costar, but it doesn't look like they'll be hooking up on or off screen anytime soon.
