An actress in the hit Netflix prison show “Orange is the New Black” has reportedly pressed stalking charges against a former pal, who a law enforcement source claims barraged her with emails and texts, reports The New York Post.
Jeanine Heller, was arraigned late Wednesday in Manhattan Criminal Court on a misdemeanor for allegedly sending small screen star Taryn Manning hundreds of online messages between April and July, the source said.
A judge released Heller without bail, but issued orders of protection barring her from any contact with Manning, Manning’s mother Sharon — or the Manning family’s dog, “Penguin.”
“The last person who violated my orders of protection is now in jail,” warned Judge Lisa Sokoloff before releasing Heller. Her next court date is August 6.
Manning, is best known for her roles in “Hustle & Flow” and “Orange is the New Black.”
