Nicole Kidman on marrying Tom Cruise at 23: 'What?'

Nicole Kidman has one word that sums up how she feels about marrying Tom Cruise at 23: "What?"

The now 49-year-old admitted to Red magazine she was too young to tie the knot.

"I was so young when I got married. I look back now and I'm like, 'What?'" Kidman told the magazine.

The actress compared herself to singer Taylor Swift who is 26.

"I mean how old is [Taylor Swift]? She's 26. I had two kids by the time I was 27 and I'd been married for four years. But that's what I wanted."

Kidman and Cruise married in 1990 and adopted two children. They divorced in 2001.

The actress is now married to country star Keith Urban. The parents of two girls -- Sunday Rose, 8, and Faith Margaret, 5, -- recently celebrated their 10-year anniversary.

"That's really big for us," Kidman shared. "It was really up and down for the first three months. We've been through a lot for 10 years. And we're stronger than ever."
