Michael Jordan hosted his bachelor party in the Dominican Republic’s famous vacation spot Casa de Campo, just weeks before tying the knot with his Cuban fiancée Yvette Prieto.
The New York Post is reporting that Jordan, along with friends and his former agent David Falk, spent a few days in the Dominican Republic playing golf and drinking up a storm. Joining Jordan was former basketball player colleague Charles Oakley, who played with him in the Chicago Bulls.
According to the tabloid, Prieto agreed to sign a prenup which protects Jordan’s $650 million NBA wealth and estates if they ever get divorced.
As Fox News Latino previously reported, Jordan and Prieto will be getting married in Palm Beach next month.
Jordan, who owns the Charlotte Bobcats, got engaged over the Christmas weekend last year.
Prieto, 33, and Jordan reportedly celebrated the engagement on a private yacht in the French Riviera.
This will be Jordan's second marriage. Jordan married Juanita Vanoy in September 1989, and they divorced in 2006. They have two sons, Jeffrey Michael and Marcus James, and a daughter, Jasmine.
Prieto, who was born in Cuba, is a longtime model who once dated Julio Iglesias Jr. In a cover story in the Spanish-language magazine ¡Hola! in 2003, Iglesias gushed that besides her beauty “what jumps out at you is her humbleness… I’m happy when I’m at her side.”
