Talk about shady behavior.
During an interview to promote her new collection of sunglasses for Carolina Lemke, Kim Kardashian revealed that she and sister Khloé once shoplifted a pair of pricey Dior sunnies when they were teenagers.
“We were in Hawaii and there was this Christian Dior store and no one [was working] there,” Kardashian, 38, told Bustle. “Like, it was [in] the wild … just an empty store. Khloé really wanted the Dior sunglasses, so she took them and we walked out.”
The rimless frames were “everything,” the mobile mogul recalled. “I still have them to this day and they were so much fun. So cute. That was so funny. We were like ‘this is wild.’ I think the [employee] must have gone to the bathroom or been in the back by herself on a Sunday. I don’t know what the story was, but it was really funny.”

Now that Kardashian’s got her very own eyewear collaboration (not to mention millions of dollars in the bank), she hopefully won’t have to resort to theft anytime soon. Available now, her Carolina Lemke collection includes seven styles priced at $90 a pop — far less than your average pair of Dior sunglasses, which typically go for between $300 and $500 per pair.

To ensure the shades made a splash on social media at launch time, Kardashian sent press boxes featuring masks of her own face to family, friends and influencers. “I thought it was cute,” the star told Bustle of the marketing stunt; her mom, Kris Jenner, meanwhile, admitted that the masks “scared the s—t out of [her].”
