Celebrity journalist Liza Ghorbani is the secret baby mama of married ex-Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher — and their affair began soon after she wrote a glowing piece about him for the New York Times three years ago, The Post has learned.
The smitten scribe, 39, interviewed Gallagher in 2010, for a very aptly headlined Style Section piece, “A Night Out With Liam Gallagher.” The piece noted how the mop-topped Brit rocker “turned heads” at the Ritz-Carlton’s bar and “sauntered” down Central Park West.
One of those turned heads was Ghorbani’s.
Sources tell Page Six the pair’s torrid affair resulted in the birth of a baby girl seven months ago, and a DNA test has confirmed Gallagher is the dad.
Gallagher, who is married to singer Nicole Appleton, has not commented publicly on the child’s paternity; but as Page Six reported exclusively yesterday, he has been sued by the miffed new mom in Manhattan Family Court for $3 million.
“Liam admitted the child is his in an e-mail, saying she is a beautiful child because she has ‘rock star genes’” according to a source.
“Liza met Liam when she interviewed him for the Times and they began an affair. It continued until around three months after the birth of the child. He ended the relationship when she told him she was suing him for child support,” the source said.
