Fox411 Breaktime: Tarek and Christina El Moussa linked to people who once worked with them

Reality star Tarek El Moussa dated his children's nanny after his split from wife Christina, FOX411 has confirmed.

TMZ reports that the “Flip or Flop” star hooked up with 23-year-old Alyssa Logan, who was looking after the former couple's two children.

Sources tell the website that they began dating in September, four months after the El Moussas secretly split.

A source told People magazine, "Yes, he dated a nanny... To be clear this was someone he hired to help when he had the kids after the separation. This was not the nanny they’ve had for years."

TMZ reports Tarek fired Logan once he realized he had feelings for her and began dating her shortly thereafter. Logan and El Moussa are no longer together, FOX411 has learned.

Christina and Tarek El Moussa were spotted together on Thursday grabbing coffee. They have maintained that their split was a joint decision.

Even though the couple are separated filming on their hit HGTV show will continue as normal.

“We admire and appreciate Tarek and Christina’s great work on 'Flip or Flop.' When it comes to matters related to their own family, we respect their privacy and honor any decision that works best for them and their children," the network told us. "HGTV is currently airing episodes of 'Flip or Flop' and the series will continue production as scheduled."

The estranged stars have released statements that since their separation clarifying that they have both “dated other people,” but neither party was “ready to announce anything in terms of another relationship.”
