Even though “The X Factor” premiere is just a day away, the hot topic on everyone’s mind is Demi Lovato’s love life.
Once again Lovato, who is one of the judges on the singing competition, is being linked to One Direction singer Niall Horan after the two were spotted together at L.A. hotspot moments after the MTV Video Music Awards last week Thursday.
At at a press junket for her new show, the youngest “X Factor” judge addressed the rumors about the British boy-band-singer head-on.
"There is nothing going on. Niall's my friend," Lovato told E News.
As US Weekly reported, the rumors resurfaced when Horan and Lovato were spotted celebrating their perspective VMA victories with a late-night dinner at LA Mexican restaurant Pink Taco.
Lovato, who won the VMA for Best Video Message, enjoyed a relaxing meal and late-night gab session with Horan, whom earlier this year she described as “adorable.”
In June, rumors swirled that that the “Give Your Heart a Break” singer and British pop star were getting cozy.
But from day one, Lovato has denied that the two are anything but friendly, as first reported by Fox News Latino.
“We’ve actually become really close friends and you know I’m really thankful I have someone who supports me in all aspects,” Lovato told MuchMusic.com.
“If I need somebody to talk to he’s there for me. But no, we’re not dating,” she confirmed.
Since 2009, Lovato has been linked to Brenda Song’s baby-daddy, Trace Cyrus, Joe Jonas, and Venezuelan actor, Wilmer Valderrama.
