Alec Baldwin and Melissa McCarthy have earned "Saturday Night Live" huuuuge ratings by portraying President Donald Trump and his Press Secretary Sean Spicer.

Cecily Strong has also played Trump's wife Melania in various skits on the hit NBC late night show.

But now, former "SNL" star Chris Kattan told FOX411 that he wants to come back and guest star as Melania next season.

Kattan spoke to reporters after the finale for "Dancing with the Stars" on Tuesday night. He was the first celebrity eliminated on the ABC reality show this season.

It's unclear how the diminutive head-bobbing comedian would play the statuesque former model, but Kattan insisted, "I think I could do a pretty good Melania."

Referring to the recent claim that Melania slapped Trump's hand away during their Middle Eastern trip (some dispute it, saying the couple just touched hands), "I'd like to do something on the hand swatting…when they go home, they're just swatting [each other], like, 'Don't touch my hand. Give me my things.' "

Kattan illustrated his idea by slapping his hands together for reporters and said, "That could be fun."

But the funnyman who appeared on "SNL" from 1996 to 2003, had other ideas for who he might play, saying, "Maybe Paul Ryan," and then he added, "What's his name who's always online with the [teen girl]? Anthony Weiner, because they always go by looks but now he's really become disgusting so I don't know if I would want to portray him."

Kattan said Baldwin and McCarthy "have revived the show. It gives you a confidence when you need it, too, which is necessary for politics [skits]."

So could an "SNL" guest shot return be in the cards for Kattan?

The star, who fared poorly on "DWTS" because of previously breaking his neck, said he was on a plane with someone recently who told him his humor is needed more than ever.

"He was telling me how comedy's so important and he was looking at me…and I was like, 'Well, I'm not on SNL anymore' and he's like, 'You still have a job to do.' "
