LOS ANGELES – Chelsea Handler has had enough of Caitlyn Jenner.
“I definitely was very interested in the Diane Sawyer interview,” the outspoken comic and talk show host said. “After that I kind of lost interest.”
While Handler, 40, admits that Jenner’s journey has been “timely” and “interesting to watch,” she has grown tired of hearing about it at every turn.
“I feel like it is a lot at the same time,” she told a group of reporters in Beverly Hills on Tuesday. “I feel like there is a way to make a statement that can be powerful and then let it breathe a little bit.”
Handler — who has previously been critical of the E! channel, where her late night talk show aired for seven years — admits she was not among 2.7 million who tuned in for the last weekend’s premiere of “I Am Cait.”
“What network is that on?” she joked.

Handler says she couldn’t be happier at Netflix, where she will host a series of specials later this year and an all-new talk show beginning in 2016.
The program — still a work in progress, will air “a few times a week,” she revealed. “I’ll be in your face. Don’t worry.”
Handler also confirmed that she has officially parted ways with long-time sidekick Chuy Bravo.
“It’s a wrap on Chuy. OK? I have given him seven years of heaven and now it is over,” she chided. “He has a karate studio and an acting class. One in the same, by the way.”
