The house used for the exterior shots for "The Brady Bunch" was reportedly broken into Wednesday evening.

TMZ reported that two suspects entered through the sliding glass door at 10:30 p.m. and ransacked the main floor. The gossip site says the elderly homeowner confronted the suspects.

The LAPD confirmed to FOX411 there was a burglary on the same block of the Hollywood TV home.

"There is not that much information," an LAPD spokesperson said. "A North Hollywood officer responded to a burglary call in the 11200 block of Dilling Street. A suspect entered the residence and was shortly confronted by the victim. The two suspects left the location and it is unknown if the suspect took any property. The victim was unharmed."

However, while an LAPD stopped short of confirming the home was the "Brady Bunch" house.

"We cannot confirm it is the 'Brady Bunch' house but we did have a burglary that happened around 10:30 last night," the spokesperson said.

According to Zillow, the historic "Brady Bunch"home is situated on the street where the break in occurred.

"The Brady Bunch" ran for five seasons from 1969 to 1974.
