Boy band 98 Degrees will reunite this summer for one performance, former members Nick and Drew Lachey announced Wednesday.
During an interview with Ryan Seacrest, the brothers said the band will play at the Summer Mixtape Festival in Hershey, Pa. in August.
"We're very excited about the opportunity," Drew Lachey, 35, said.
"We've been toying around with the idea for a couple years ... this music festival right here just kind of seemed like the right time to get back together and do a show and kick the tires and see how it feels," he added.
Nick Lachey, 38, added he was "very excited" but said the reunion would be the band's "one and only appearance."
The Lachey brothers joined forces with Justin Jeffre and Jeff Timmons to form the group in 1996. The band sold over 10 million records before the quartet parted ways in 2002.
