Colton Underwood is ready to take the next step – over the fence, that is.
The “Bachelor,” who is the franchise’s first-ever virgin lead, geared up for what should have been three memorable nights inside the fantasy suite on Monday’s episode. Instead, frontrunner Cassie, 23, throws him for a loop.
Following their “perfect” day out in Portugal, Cassie receives a visit from her father, who refused to give Colton, 27, his blessing during hometown dates.
“For me, to give a blessing to someone after a half-hour conversation isn’t really diligent,” Cassie’s father explains.
While Colton has made it clear that Cassie is someone who he is “definitely falling for,” his lady love is questioning how deeply she feels about him.
COLTON UNDERWOOD OPENS UP ABOUT ALY RAISMAN BEING HIS ‘FIRST LOVE’
“I want to feel that 100 percent … and I don’t have that right now,” Cassie shares before stating, “I have to send myself home today.”
Though Colton looks forward to a romantic evening, his plans are soon derailed when Cassie gets brutally honest about where she stands in their relationship.
“My dad actually showed up at my hotel room earlier. He talked to me about how I was feeling, and how big this whole thing is, and he told me about my mom and him and their kind of love,” Cassie explains to Colton. “He never had any doubts about it.”

As Cassie gets up to step away from their secluded space, Colton offers that the two go for a walk. Upon returning to the cozy bungalow, Colton says he will fight for her.
“The last thing I want to do is give up. The last thing I’m going to do is walk away from this relationship,” Colton says.
“I don’t want to lose you,” he tells Cassie.
Before going their separate ways, Colton and Cassie share what appears to be their final embrace.
“I want what’s best for you,” Cassie states.
As tears stream down Cassie’s face as she rides away in the back of a car, an emotional Colton is seen closing the door to his suite, proclaiming, “I’m done with this.”

After emerging from his room, Colton walks past the crew and host Chris Harrison to jump a fence nearby.
“He just jumped the f–king fence,” Chris says. “He is gone.”
