Move over Kim Kardashian – there is another butt in town getting more attention. In Spain, anyway.
Antonio Banderas’ body is not only a hit among women, but also among Spanish men who are reportedly envious of his butt.
So envious that it has become one of the most requested models for gluteus surgeries.
“Some men come to my office and they ask me to reproduce Antonio Banderas’ butt,” Dr. Angel Martin, director of a clinic in Menorca, Spain, told the Spanish newspaper ABC. “What makes them special? His buttocks have concavity and convexity. That can be managed by removing fat from the hips and placing it in the thigh.”
Curiously, the muse for the surgery has said that he would not go under the knife as he wants “to age normally.”
“I am not going to touch my face, and I won’t get Botox and all of that s***,” he recently said, according to Mexico’s El Universal. “No, no way. I want to age normally.”
It’s not the only peculiar request by some Spanish men. According to Dr. Hector Valdes, men have approached him for abdominal liposuction.
“In the last weeks I have had three patients who have come to me to design them a chocolate tablet with liposuction, and one brought me a photo of a soccer player that they want to look like,” he told ABC.
The soccer player is usually Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.
The number of men requesting plastic surgery in Spain has risen by 30 percent in the last two years, Dr. Antonio Porcura told the newspaper.
