ABIDJAN (AFP) – Ivory Coast on Friday decided not to transfer former first lady Simone Gbagbo to the International Criminal Court, which issued a warrant last year for suspected crimes against humanity.

A cabinet meeting decided to file a "motion to dismiss" the warrant and not to send Simone Gbagbo to The Hague, where her husband and former president Laurent Gbagbo awaits trial over deadly violence that followed 2010 polls.
