A truck driver is dead after going off Interstate 25 in northern Colorado and plowing through a line of garages at an apartment complex.
The crash happened Thursday morning in Wellington, about 70 miles north of Denver. Tire marks left behind show how the truck veered off the highway, across the service road next to it and then a patch of grass before crashing diagonally through the garages and coming out the other side.
The garages are just across a small parking lot from apartments but no one else was injured.
Trooper Josh Lewis of the Colorado State Patrol says the cause of the crash is still being investigated.
