MIAMI – The latest on an internal affairs investigation of a Miami police officer; video shot by a bystander shows him jumping on top of a handcuffed teenager in the back of a patrol car (all times local):

A woman who shot a video that shows a Miami police officer jumping on top of a handcuffed teenager in a patrol car says the teen was asking why he was being arrested.
The incident happened Thursday afternoon in Miami's Liberty City neighborhood. Shenitria Blocker tells The Associated Press she started filming with her cellphone because of a commotion — she heard the teen yelling. She says the officer said he didn't have to tell him why he was being arrested. Then, she says, the officer jumped into the car and "hit the man a couple of times."
Blocker says another officer asked her to stop recorded and tried to take her phone away.
Miami police Maj. Delrish Moss issued a statement late Thursday, saying the department has reviewed the video and launched an investigation. He says the officer turned in his badge and gun and will be taken off the streets until the investigation wraps up.
