WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Latest on three children killed inside an apartment in Northern California (all times local):
4 p.m.
The Yolo County coroner's office is identifying the three children authorities say were slain by their father in their California apartment.
Chief Deputy Coroner Gina Moya said Thursday that they are 11-year-old Kelvin Hodges, 9-year-old Julie Hodges and Lucas Hodges, who was born in January and was nearly eight months old.
Yolo County Chief Deputy District Attorney Jonathan Raven says their father, 33-year-old Robert Hodges, is being held without bail for a court appearance Monday. He says charges are likely to be announced that morning.
He has not heard that Hodges has an attorney.
West Sacramento police Sgt. Roger Kinney says Hodges killed the children following an altercation with his wife.
Thunder Valley Casino northeast of Sacramento confirms that the mother is Mai Hodges, who works as a cashier.

Prosecutors say the man suspected of killing his three children, including a baby, inside their California apartment is expected to be formally charged next week.

West Sacramento Police Sgt. Roger Kinney says the mother of three children killed by their father inside the family's apartment did not witness the killings but that "she was in close proximity."
Sacramento television station KCRA earlier reported that Kinney told the station that the woman had witnessed the killings.
Kinney says investigators tell him she did not.
Kinney says California Highway Patrol officers arrested 33-year-old Robert Hodges after midnight Thursday.
Hodges' grandmother, Irene Aiello, tells The Associated Press that relatives were unaware of any previous marital disputes.
Aiello says the couple had been married more than a dozen years and had an 11-year-old boy, a 9-year-old girl and another boy, born in January.

The great-grandmother of three children killed in what police in California say was a domestic violence incident says relatives were unaware of any previous marital disputes.
Irene Aiello of West Sacramento says the couple had been married more than a dozen years and had an 11-year-old boy, a 9-year-old girl and another boy, born in January.
She tells The Associated Press that the three were beautiful children.
She says the grandparents have yet to speak to their grandson, 33-year-old Robert Hodges, nor his wife.
Hodges was arrested early Thursday after police say neighbors called 911.

Police say the man arrested in the killings of three children inside a Northern California apartment was the children's father.
West Sacramento Police Sgt. Roger Kinney says 33-year-old Robert Hodges was taken into custody after midnight Thursday.
Kinney says neighbors called 911 to report a domestic violence incident involving Hodges and his wife and that as officers were en route, a second call came in reporting the killings.
He says the mother witnessed Hodges kill the children, and that she was a victim of domestic violence. Kinney said that he didn't know the extent of her injuries.

Sacramento's KXTV reports officers with the West Sacramento Police Department say a woman found at the scene who is being questioned by police is also considered a victim of domestic violence.
