Interstate 95 has reopened in south Florida, six hours after a shooting suspect drove the wrong way, caused accidents and was then killed by authorities.
Authorities said northbound I-95 in south Palm Beach County reopened Wednesday afternoon.
Earlier, officials said a man killed a woman, dragged her into his SUV and then drove the wrong-way on the interstate before he was fatally shot by a sheriff's deputy.
Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said the suspect shot the woman in a suburban shopping center parking lot Wednesday morning and pulled her inside his Nissan Rogue.
Bradshaw said callers soon reported a southbound driver in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95.
A deputy and a Florida Highway Patrol trooper arrived moments after the Rogue crashed into several vehicles, causing injuries.

They rushed the Rogue and the deputy killed the driver. The woman was found dead inside.
Earlier, officials incorrectly said the suspect stole the woman's car and two people died in a crash.
