An 8-year-old Florida girl helped her mom deliver a baby Monday morning by supporting the baby's head as it emerged during labor, The Tampa Bay Times reported.

Krystle Garcia, 29, reportedly went into labor shortly after 7 a.m. Her first labor lasted 20 hours, but Monday's lasted minutes.

Garcia's daughter, Jazmine McEnaney assisted her mother though the labor. She followed the dispatcher's instructions until paramedics arrived.

"Even though she was telling her what to do, that's a lot for an 8-year-old,” the mother told the paper. At one point, Garcia told the dispatcher that her daughter was "freaking out."

Both the baby and mother were taken to Tampa General Hospital and are in good condition.
