MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. – Investigators say they have found the body of a New Jersey mother missing since New Year's Eve by using a GPS device in her husband's vehicle.
Burlington County Prosecutor Robert Bernardi announced Wednesday that the body of 26-year-old Erica Crippen was found Tuesday afternoon in Sykesville, Maryland.
Her hands and feet were bound with an electrical cord that also was around her neck. Duct tape was found on her face and nose.
Crippen's husband, 28-year-old Kyle Crosby, is charged with her murder. Bernardi says investigators used the GPS to help track down the area where the body was dumped.
The couple lived in Mount Laurel with their infant daughter and Crippen's 7-year-old daughter.
Crosby's 67-year-old mother, Jo, has been charged with hindering and tampering with physical evidence in the case.
