Neither of the victims’ injuries was considered life threatening, Fox 10 reported. Paramedis rushed both unidentified men to hospitals, AZCentral added.

The attack unfolded around 11:15 a.m. local time in Glendale as the men apparently were leaving the store.

Officials were searching for two people in connection with the attack and said they believed the shooters and victims knew each other.

Cory Krueger was shopping at the Glendale Walmart with his 10-month-old daughter when the shots were fired. He told AZCentral he was close enough to the gunfire that debris hit his leg. Krueger said one of the men were shot was waving a gun during, though another bystander took possession of the weapon.
