Police in Orlando are searching for a motive behind the fatal shooting of two women who were riding their bicycles.

Orange County Sheriff's officers arrived at the intersection of Hudson Street and Bolling Court late Wednesday night to find two bodies lying in the street, according to MyFOXOrlando.com.

The women were later pronounced dead from gunshot wounds.

Witnesses told police when they got to the scene that a male suspect — identified as 23-year-old Gaston Jones — had run into a house near the intersection, MyFOXOrlando.com reported.

Officers caught the suspect inside the home, which was occupied by the victims and two children.

Jones was arrested and charged with first-degree murder of a firearm. Police said the shooting appears not to have been a random act, though they haven't disclosed a motive. The victims' identities have not been released.
