LOS ANGELES – Southern California coach Steve Sarkisian says nothing has changed about the status of suspended cornerback Josh Shaw.
Sarkisian had no update on Shaw's availability Tuesday after the No. 24 Trojans opened practice for Saturday's game against No. 11 UCLA.
Sarkisian says Shaw's status is still being evaluated by USC, which is conducting its own investigation of Shaw's actions.
Shaw hasn't played this season after spraining both of his ankles and lying to the school about how it happened. The Los Angeles County district attorney's office announced this week that it will not charge Shaw with a crime after he jumped from a balcony following an argument with his girlfriend.
USC (7-3, 6-2 Pac-12) is bowl-eligible, but has just two games left in its regular season.
