Troy will introduce former Kentucky offensive coordinator Neal Brown as its new coach.

The school says Brown will be introduced at a news conference on Monday. He was flying into Troy on Sunday with athletic director John Hartwell.

The Associated Press and other outlets reported the hiring on Saturday.

The 34-year-old Brown spent two seasons as Troy's offensive coordinator and held the same post at Texas Tech before joining head coach Mark Stoops at Kentucky in 2013.

The Trojans ranked third in the nation in total offense under Brown in 2009.

He'll replace Larry Blakeney, who coached the Trojans for 24 seasons. They completed a 3-9 season Saturday with a loss to Sun Belt Conference rival Louisiana-Lafayette.
