For being such an NFL Draft bust, Trent Richardson is doing pretty well for himself.
The now-former Raiders running back picked up an extra $600,000 after his official release on Tuesday. He only worked a few months in Oakland.
That payout makes the Raiders' front office seem even more foolish. They were all too quick to swoop on Richardson with a two-year deal when he was released this offseason.
Richardson will also get paychecks from his previous team. He's still guaranteed the $3.184 million left on his rookie deal that the Colts absorbed when he was acquired from the Browns.
It's tough to envision Richardson landing on another roster. He might not need another job after collecting nearly $4 million to stay off the gridiron this season.
